Anyone who pays for Twitter verification is a loser- Doja Cat says after she lost her blue badge
Despite the removal of Doja Cat’s verified status on Twitter, she didn’t seem very concerned about it and asserted that blue checks are only for “desperate people.”
Apparently unconcerned about losing her confirmed position, the rapper interprets the blue check as a sign of insecurity rather than as a loss of status.
She made a generic Twitter post about the incident on Tuesday, April 11. She quoted a fan account in which it was stated that she was running out of time in the absence of the blue tick.
Doja, however, pretended not to be concerned, saying that “only fans have blue ticks.” Another admirer claimed that she was likely going to pay for the account’s authentication, which would suggest that Elon Musk had somehow done something with her.
“You have to pay for Twitter blue now? What has elon done to you doja ?” they wrote.
